New Additions

Well that didn’t take long. I just talk about lightening our load of animals and more come to take their place…and none have even officially left yet!
We have added a new dog to the family. A very large bulldog named Junior. He looks like a super-sized Daisy, but is bigger than Buster. He weighs more than I do and I’m thinking about teaching him to pull a cart so I can save on gas. He’s very well behaved, much more so than our 2 delinquents. I hope they don’t rub off on him. Junior and Buster are still deciding who’s going to be “big dog”. Junior wins by size alone, but Buster’s not giving up the title…yet. They’ve gotten along pretty well so far except for one incident involving a stolen bone where they both showed their teeth, growled fiercely and perhaps would have pounced if they weren’t thankfully on opposite sides of a chain link fence. For nice dogs, they were quite scary. Daisy is like a little sister with the two bigger brother dogs…chase me, chase me. Then they catch up to her and she immediately rolls on her back submissively. She’s no dummy.
We may also have a new kitten by default. Daisy found a tiny orange kitten living under our shed last week. It looked so terribly pathetic and sad. I gave it some food, but haven’t seen it again since. Hopefully it’s finding all the mice in our shed make a nice meal.
Any other animals I’m not aware of?

I had no idea JR was bigger than Buster! What a great pix of JR and Buster running like mirror images, side by side – like good friends! Where’s Daisy?
And since you haven’t taught Sonic the Donkey to pull a cart, I guess it WILL have to be JR…
JR looks so happy! I’m glad he has friends to spend time with all day. It really gives me comfort to hear about all these wonderful things and I’m sure him and Buster will be good friends soon.
