The holidays are over which means vacation time is over. Toes in the warm sand, drink in one hand (Did I just quote VanHalen?), smell of suntan lotion, waves lapping…just a distant memory. Sorry to leave that, friends and family. Happy to leave the traffic, overwhelming stores and too common pissiness.
My days are now filled with pecans, animals and quiet (except where Jett, hubby and Sonic the Donkey are concerned). It’s eerie, but pleasant, how still and quiet it gets around here when it’s cold.
