I hope the Harvey-Kiminas clan is weathering all these freezes well. My partner and friend opened up an organic farm on his property near Quincy: Full Earth Farms. I'm a co-op member. I'm appreciating the produce and how much work it takes to make a living being a small farmer.

I have a feeling you will either get used to the noise like a clock chiming through the night or the novelty will wear off soon and then there is always soup.

Good for you. getting up the courage to take the next step towards a healthier, self-sustaining lifestyle. Just out of curiosity, how did the chicken make its way from yard to freezer?
--Brenda
PS I gave my aunts some of your vanilla infused pear butter and they loved it! When are you coming south again? I need more of your good cookin.
